SO major plans in the works for the next few months! I just signed on to do makeup & hair for 2 up & coming models who are trying to build their portfolio. It’s a non paying job but I also get professional looking portfolio pics of my work out of this. First shoot is this wednesday at the beach during sunset! EXCITINGGG :) & I get to play with colors & looks with this one.

I also signed on a new partner who I’ll be taking under my wing to learn everything I do so she can help me with big groups/ time crunches :) She will also be part of the new YOUTUBE channel I’m planning to start very veryy sooon, which also includes vlogs of on-set work, trial runs, prom makeup, & the houston rodeo! I’m very excited for what’s to come! I can only hope & strive for success in this field because it’s taking me a while to finish the personal training thing, which unfortunately my passion is not as strong in but what I love to do most is to make people feel good about themselves, & that’s what exercise does too. It’s still win/ win.

Last Sunday I went to meet up with a client for a trial run for her prom hair & makeup, and my goodness did she make my heart melt! She is this super tall, super skinny soft spoken girl who wanted to look like taylor swift. After the overall look was completed, she couldn’t stop looking at herself & did not want to remove her makeup even though she had two different eye looks going on, lol. She was just so happy and excited that it just made my job that much more worthwhile. I seriously couldn’t have picked a better time to start doing freelance makeup. I did not think that I would ever have as many opportunities as the ones I have right now. To be honest, it all started as an accident when kieu-vi was actually the one who was asked to do makeup for a fashion show, but she asked me instead & the rest is history!

Anyway I had to telll someone or something, so tumblr is pretty much my first stop. I’m going to study now, but that’s all :D Life is good to me!
